...and in first place, the North Coast Pipe Band.

That's what the announcer said yesterday afternoon. Aside from granting us the right and expectation of a quick performance in the beer tent (and a few beers afterwards)and making us all feel warm and fuzzy it meant that we did it again.
One first place in bad weather could be a fluke, two in a row (again in bad weather) could have been some good luck, but yesterday's show in perfect conditions against the same bands we've been edging out is a pattern.
We've been working our asses off, now we're starting to at least prod buttock if not kick ass. We just have to keep it up and we'll see how the North American and World championships go...

So aside from that we had some rather hardcore celebrations last night. A wild time was had by all and a hell of a lot of Stoli was had by me. Now if I wasn't sick with a hacking cough, runny nose, fever, and bodyaches I would be able to say that I had a pretty flawless weekend...
