Ah, man.

Snippits of conversations I've had, situations I've gotten myself into, things I've seen, people I've encountered over the past year had led me to believe that the proverbial stick up the societal ass was well on its way to being dislodged from its uncomfortable position, getting nicely lubed up, and re-inserted slowly... but gently, in a way that's enjoyable to every one involved.
