I've gone to more concerts alone than with people because most of my friends or potential dates haven't shared my taste in music. That being said, I probably would give something a good listen. People who know my taste in music might be able to influence me into trying something I had never heard of, but if I thought I wanted something, I wouldn't let their opinions persuade me to not get it (or at least get some samples or mp3's first to check it out myself).

Outside of music, yes, I do take other's opinions seriously - relationship/dating advice, home repair or appliance purchases, restaurants, things for the yard, etc... Oddly, music is one of the few areas where I don't listen to others much.

I use my friend's opinion in a lot of things. It doesn't mean I',m going to do it with my final decision. Now if you had given me the cd and said "man,this sucks ass." I would have still given it a chance. Cause it may suck to you but have been great to me.

That's a very interesting thought process and I'm sure it'll find its way into my head as I job hunt like burning this week.

you were stonebender then. it's weird,i don't like to run into old friends. mostly it's because at the times that i knew them my life was crazy and out of control,so it brings back memories that are uncomfortable. i have some friends that were so close to me that i still dream about,but if i saw them i don't know how i would feel about it.

yeah, my bedtime was like 10pm up until a week ago. i stayed out until all hours of the night and now i can't get to sleep.

Weird. I just looked at you prom pics. I didn't know that was you. I barely met anyone because I was wasted all day and night on whiskey and budweiser. And because of said intoxication I'm sure the people that I actually did meet were far from impressed.

Thank you! Great cd. Love hearing demos - what made it to the final version and what didn't . The acoustic version of Cup of Tea sounds like something done for an adult contemporary station - softened and slowed - but still good. And the live ones are good as well. Was this released in '96?

I don't know for sure but I'm thinking I read some where that chronic migraines can be a symptom of another illness. Of course I wouldn''t take my word for it seeing as how I'm not all that caught up on medical knowledge. If I'm sick I just ride it out. Because I hate going to the doctor. which is ironic since i work in a doctor's office.

i used to get migraines a lot. i finally found out that my neck was sticking in a misaligned position every once in a while, pinching nerves, and causing headaches. physical therapy and muscle strengthening (in my neck and upper back) solved everything. pretty amazing.
