From the annuls of Jeremys sleeping habits...
Today, July 10th '3, I got home, and since it was so hot outside, I decided to take a nap right away, instead of waiting my usual hour or so after I got home..
I had the beginnings of a migraine, its seems to be a perpetual thing with this heat, so I thought that getting to sleep quicker would help get rid of it quicker.
I laid down, and I was pretty much out.
An hour and a half or so later, there is this knock on my door, I think that I sleep harder in the afternoon then I do at night, cause it woke me up, and I was like what the hell???
I get up, go to the back door thinking that my friend Damien dropped by, but there was no one there, so I go to the front door, and open it up, and there is this guy there, he says to me, "Maintenence, Im here to change the locks," I said okay, and you must realize that Im still half asleep, so he then asks me " can I have your old key?" I answer, in a sarcatic tone, can I have the new one? He says, "Yeah, after you give me the old one." I let him in, and as he starts working on the door, I go to make my energade, cause im thirsty, tired and dehydrated, and I realize that I should apologize to this guy, cause I must look like an asshole, so I say to him, "Man, your gonna have to excuse me, I get up at 430 in the morning, and I was taking a nap, he kinda chuckles, and says "Its okay, your the 5th person that I have woken up today, that tole me the same thing."
I offered him some water, which he semes really grateful for, and we started chatting, I told him, and mind you this in a complete stranger, that "I must sleep harder in the afternoon, then at night" and proceeded to tell him the story I posted yesterday. he laughed at that, and agreed, that hes done the same thing before.
Needless to say, I feel refreshed, and have new locks on my door.
7 more days, then Im in Oregon for 4....
I cannot wait....
Music for the day, since everyone else seems to be doing it, and you know Im a lemur...
Perfect Circle, cause its been stuck in my head all day...

trees are cool in general.
i like the way pine trees smell, but they are virtually unclimbable b/c the branches start so high.
growning up we had a good climbing tree in the yard - an apple tree - but it was too small for a tree house.
ever since that girl, what was her name? butterfly? lived in the redwood to keep it from being cut down, i've fantasized a/b living in a tree.
ahh.
"i think i shall never see
a poem lovely as a tree . . . "
