When I was younger, kinda like now, I went through life with my blinders on, its hard to explain, but I really didnt pay attention to anything but my immediate suroundings, and never thought about the "big picture" very much. The things back then, that meant most to me, were my friends, and being able to do do what I wanted, without having anything to hold me down.
Recently, an old friend came back into my life, that I thought that I had lost forever, and when I was younger, one of the things that I did best was take care of my "circle" of friends. My mom raised me well, and the door was always open, especially if they were hungry, or needed a place to crash, hell even after I moved out of the house, she still took care of the person that I am talking about.
Im rambling, and not really making a point, so , Ill focus here..
I really never concentrated on myself first, I always tried to make sure that thay were always happy, and doing alright, cause if they were, I was, its in my nature to take care of human beings, well those that are close to me anyways.
I realized tonight, thanks to valentine that I no longer have to take care of them. The guy that came back into my life, is, and was like a brother to me, and its wierd, 10 years ago, I would have wanted to know that hes alright, but now, even though I know that he is, I dont need to make a point to find out, cause I know that he can take care of himself, and I dont ahve to get involved in it all..
I think that this will make more sense to me, than anyone reading it, maybe what Im doing is trying to put my life into order, a bit more then I have recently..
---------------------------Part2----------------------------------------
I was sitting outside this evening, and this black gentleman walked by. He was pimped out in a puffy velvet jacket, chain on his side, attached to his wallet, light brown pants, pimped out sunglasses, and was wearing socks, and a pair of teva's.
Big Pimpin in the new millenium folks, I had to laugh at it...
Go him!
------------------------------------Part3--------------------------
Ill send the the first person that tells me where this movie quote comes from a copy of any cd that I own, and I have close to a 1000 of them.
*DING* "Were back, ready for round two."

Pimpin in the new millenium, now that's funny.
It's from Magnolia, and it's on the beginning of the supertramp song Goodbye Stranger on the Magnolia cd too.
