So, I have been thinking about this for a while now, and Im going to ponder some things on here, and see how you all feel about it..
I have a friend at work, and both of us try and keep up on the entertainment world, including music, movies and whatnot, and recently, the weekend after I bought the new Manson album, I burnt him a copy of it, and told him that it was awesome, and that he would enjoy it. Now for the most part, Im not a huge Manson fan, but the new song caught my attention, and I bought the album. Ive enjoyed it more than any of his other stuff, and played it quite a few times before I shelved it. Anyways, after giving him the album, he listened to it, and after 2 or 3 days, said that he really liked it, and played it alot also.
What im getting at, is if I would have told him that the album sucked, and wasnt anygood, and still gave him a copy, do you think that he, or any of you, would have listened to it enough to really get into it?
Not that you can answer for him, Im not asking that, but I would like to think that some of you would take my opinion, and use it, and I know that I would from some of you.
Wait, how about this, not my opinion, but your friends in the real world, how much of their opinions do you think that you use in your life, and how does it effect you??

Outside of music, yes, I do take other's opinions seriously - relationship/dating advice, home repair or appliance purchases, restaurants, things for the yard, etc... Oddly, music is one of the few areas where I don't listen to others much.
