I'm glad I don't watch television.

The baby warmed up nicely yesterday and was friendly all through the afternoon and evening. And he remembered me this morning. Will be tough to take him in, but they are pretty strict about who they accept as adopters, so he should get a good home. Unfortunately, Casper seems to have said enough is enough and didn't come home last night. He came by for a few minutes while I was fixing dinner, but left again. Someone in the neighborhood is probably putting food out and he's hanging out with them.

Wow, I didn't know the EAS system was activated during the Rodney King riots. Makes sense, though. We get 'em mostly during the winter for flash flood warnings.

So, ya, it's just been going through my mind about what a messed up existence that girl had and the fact that virtually all of it was beyond her control - there's only so much you can do with the tools with which you have to work. And for her parents to have lost two adult children to disease. I don't know if there were other children or not, but... gah.

I wanna hear a story about the Summer Sanitarium tour. Who was on tour this year, I haven't been keeping up with that kind of stuff. -Dave

Yeah, actually I do like APB. I particularly like "Non Stop Violence". I wasn't much into Harmonizer though, and I haven't been listening to them/him/whatever too much lately. Your question prompted me to check out their site to see if they've done anything new lately, but it seems not. So then I was thinking "hmm, who else could I check...maybe VNV?" just cause they seem to get compared a lot, and it turns out they're playing a club in Boston in September and it's the first time they've played in Boston that I'm old enough to go (last time I was sadly only 17). I might never have known. So thanks for that
