Well now, I stuck some nakey pictures in my pics folder. They are of a set taken by jaxs1984 who is a great, sincere photographer and an all around swell guy to hang out with, so if anyone needs a picture-taker or a drinking buddy in the Chicagoland area, I recommend him.
Here I show my nerd card and portray Death, one of my favorite characters from Neil Gaiman's The Sandman, a remarkable piece of literature whether you like comic books or not.
Rejection. It was the theme of last year, it seems. Book publication, university programs, SG, even presidential elections. Okay, so maybe the presidential election had little to do with me, but it still hurt. I do think learning to take rejection is important. Very important to me, perhaps. Maybe it's because I've had a few beers, but I can't help thinking that there's a lesson to be learned, a path to be discerned through all of it.
Anyway, here are my naked pictures. I think they're good. I think we did a damn good job, and if they bring some sort of minute elation to someone, well, then there is no waste.
