So I'm finally updating again...
Huh. It's been a while, so I must recount...
This summer, I wanted to :
- be artistic at the museum
- get a hot biker boyfriend
- visit BC and have a gay old time
So far, I've worked hard on some gong shows (though I did enjoy myself... at times), met a lovely fellow (and instead of a date, took him to the clinic to have his bronchitis checked), and will be visiting Victoria from Aug 20-27. Give or take a day for travel.
In BC, I'm gonna learn about my Mum's new use of morphine as an aid to her chronic pain.
Don't get me wrong; I'm really just venting here because I can. Mum was meant to phone me back tonight, but hasn't. It just upsets me.
And I'm not tragically disillusioned; this is my ennuie. On the whole, I'm feeling fine - just coming down from funny Bridget Jones-style weekend.
I went camping with a friend to a wedding where everyone was lovely (but thought I was a big wierdo) and smelt of Muskkol. Drank too much, hated the music and slept shivering in the tent. Used outhouses. Smoked too much. Played with the kids and discussed the merits of Star Wars while all the couples looked lovey-dovey.
I got to play football. That was fun.
First sunburn of the summer, an it didn't even get my tattoos... Phew. My alabaster-albino flesh will be back soon.
With that, I 'm going to knit. And stop this train of-consciousness.
