Back from the world of darkness, sound cues and booths... Hurrah practicum is over! Made some good friends and fiends, tho... Turns out the Technical Director at the Uni used to "blow things up... good" on SCTV. I didn't tell him that my first ever crush was on Martin Short. I used to rush home from French Immersion to watch - and I hated when he was Ed Grimley. Ha.

So back to school. I'm designing a toothbrush holder int he style of Frank Gehry - who I'm in lurve with. But a toothbrush holder? boourns. THought I had escaped THAT assignment.


Tonight, I think I'll have to see Robin Black in town. The temptation is too great; a few years ago, I was their onstage bartender/#1 groupie in Victoria. Can you say Riff Randal?... Except I actually got to kiss 'em, lippie and all. (And yes, he is a bit of a prick - a nice one. And if you get him offstage, and make him stop faoming at the mouth - he's a sweetheart. So are all the other boys - though I don't approve of recent lineup changes.)
He may not be Jack Fairy, but he's the closest I've got!....

Bloody Monroe bead fell out... Now I must to strange city apres school to be fixed.

Also - Thursday morning, I have an interview at a museum in Wetaskiwin - for costume reproductions et al. Should be good. In a dumb act of rebellion, I died pieces of my hair (most notably the fringe) even brighter red. They bloody well not make me take out my piercings... Sigh.
