Shock and horror! I've managed to loose (or worse, have it stolen!) a very important CD.... the one with all the nno-lyrics Marilyn Monroe music for my show next week!
I;ve ordered some MIDI files to be emailed to me (they haven't yet), and ordered another CD (in hopes it will arrive soon). Crap. Anyone out there got any karaoke Marilyn Monroe files lying around?
The burlesque number is fine; it's on another CD. Why, oh why, I didn't rip ALL of this shit onto the computer when I could have, I have no idea.
Aside from that, I had a fun night out last night. In search of pot, a friend and I ended up at the Strat, then hanging out on Whyte with some other kids... Finally, we went to Blues on Whyte, which I enjoy partly because of its scuzzy atmosphere. That, and the blues dancing I get to do there.
School will start to be exceedingly stressful soon. I'm scared of doing my practicum hours next month... But I'll survive. I always do.

Scuzzy bars rock. My friends and I always went to the Cambie when we were in Vancouver. Intresting people with the possibility of danger with every drink. Now you see why I stay away from alcohol these days.
