Last night Tom and I tried to get our urban family to all meet up at the Roost. I don't think they did -or at least, we were there and the place got so damned packed I couldn't see anyone else.
Tom rebirthed me on the dancefloor to "Like a Prayer", Jamie cut our metaphorical umbilical cord and we made pretend soup whilst dancing.
Silly kids.
Today we went to the art gallery. Not only was membership a mere $25, we can come to art openings. Tom reasoned that we could eat our weight in cheese over four soirees of art openings. Well, I shall do my utmost.
I also plan on getting dressed up and hopefully wearing some sort of monocle.
There was a kids' space, and we played dressup and make-believe in the colourful room with some smaller "children".
I have tomorrow off, so tonight I wil stay up late painting and watching the Anna Nicole show (it's on a dvd I rented). I swear that show sucks my brain right out, it's so silly... But if I'm stoned, I love it. What's a gal to do?
