I made it to Edmonton!
Am currently holed up in an Internet cafe with Tom on Whyte Ave. (No phone or Internet yet, but it's in the works). I just bought some nipple pasties (with tassles attached), which pretty much sums up the mood of the trip thus far.
Tom and I had a great time, visiting tiny antique shops, fresh produce stands, my great aunt in Osoyoos and our friend Quintin in Calgary.
Yesterday was a mammoth trip to Ikea, which was fun for the first hour and a half. Tom took photos of me "testing out" the futons (ie. yelling "Roll in ze hay!" and rolling around) and playing in the ball-room with all the other kids (the rest were more pint-sized than yours truly).
After that, things got a lot less fun. Sitting in a cafeteria guzzling coffee to the sounds of screaming children (completely unrelated to my playing with them earlier, rest assured) took its toll and we were soon cranky and overtired. An hour later, we emerged victorious, like phonixes from the ashes of Ikea with some very reasonably priced furniture.
Today we spent roaming the University, getting textbooks and classes in order. I can now park on campus, too.
I met the program head, Guido (I know - he sounds like a Brando-esque fiure, not the smiling mild mannered man I met) and arranged my class schedule. I am in for a few years of wonderful, exciting courses. I can't wait to start drawing and designing.
I have also gotten my Monroe pierced. I think it's hot. I was also told I look like Gwen Stefani, Bif Naked and wanda from Crybaby at the gay bar last night. My cup runneth over, I tell you.

Horray!!! You guys made it!! I wish I could have gone through the mountains, I love them. Next time I hear from you, you'll probably be started school. I know you're going to kick ass.
