Saw the Black Halos on Wednesday in Calgary and it fucking rawked!!! 
The drummer is adorable, as is Billy Hopeless. I went with a friend and we threw undies onstage, which Billy played with, then had our pictures taken with him. He also came up to me in the middle of a song and sweatily groped me.
I also went to Calgary again on Friday, for a trade show for the college. I modelled a costume from Amadeus, as well as Lady Bracknell from the Importance of Being Earnest. The bustle is massive, and the costume was built so that Lady Bracknell would appear to be a "battleship" onstage. It was faboo.
There was also a lovely antique/collectibles show next door, where I got a lovely onyx ring and a Gonzo doll!
My aunt and uncle took me out to dinner at Diner Deluxe, which was great. I wanna have my birthday party there. The toilet was turquoise, with a sea-shell shaped lid. So much chrome, so little time.
Even better yet, one of my friends fromt he video store emailed me and he's coming to play at the Vat here in Red Deer on the 23rd of October. I'll post it in the calendar; he's great.
Don't forget my costume society's party on Halloween... It's now at the East 40th Pub, also in Red Deer. For anyone stuck in this wicked little town, cum on donw! There will be live music, prizes, and I'll be Frankenfurter.
