*Warning. The following journal is a self-indulgent depressed mess. So if you don't wanna read it, don't. I don;t expect any happy comments with references to solidarity, just somewhere to vent. So beware. You HAVE been warned.*
Today I went shopping with my Mum and Dad. Dad came because I'm feeling fluish and was worried about hauling the wheelchair around.

After Winner's, I went to...

sorry for what you're going through with your mom.

mmm... perogies...

have fun tomorrow!
tear_garden:
Never apologize about being honest about your emotions..

That is what makes you stay grounded and balanced. (At least it kinda works for me smile )

Negative things happen to the good and the bad... the big difference I think is how the two factions handle it..

While I really do not know you well (yet) I can sense already you are a good person.

Therefore.

I know you will handle whatever knocks you get because it is a separating feature from the bad.

And it may not be fun... and it likely will be hard... and it may push you in directions you'd never steer yourself... but these moments of anxiety or "being upset" are so necessary and helpful.

I'm wishing you well!

Happiness is...

A warm gun.
Having cute little kids ask me about my tattoos at work.
Ditching Dave for my latest boytoy - and having a really good time doing it.
(Also being sore the next day, mmm).

Edited July 27/04 for happier thoughts:
Karma is...
Telling my boss about my coworker. He gave me a hug, and told me I'm great.
Watching Yellow Submarine...

yes, very bloated. and no you didn't scare us out... we had been there for a long time, and we wanted to go home, cause we were all tired and had to work in the morning.

You know what? I think I want Glove tattoo'd on me now. Glad the co-worker thing got sorted out. I'm fortunate that I can go a whole day without seeing people I dislike cause my workplace is so friggin huge.

Just got home from the SGVic meetup tonight, so I am writing a "warm fuzzies" journal to profess my love for our lovely little group.
Let us not forget, either, our wonderful visiting SGVan friends.

I worked until around 11pm tonight. I made friends with a 5 year old at work - she was renting Robin Hood (one of my childhood favourites) and wanted to...

Last night was movie musical night. I watched 'Meet Me in St. Louis' with some friends- all drama geeks - and we sang along with Judy Garland. Good stuff. whatever

Also was tempted by calamari and salmon cream cheese. I had a bite of the salmon stuff before Geoff told me there was any meat in it. (Dumbass) So I had some calamari, too - but...

I used to go and get stoned with friends and then we'd go order calimari, take the breading off of them and play with them. Needless to say the restaurants were not impressed.

Alright, thanks to everyone for the ego boost. It helped. love I'm such a suck. I made Alicia cuddle with me last night too. I'm all about the contact comfort.

Work today was fun, mostly because I got to work with Lindy (who I love) and watch the Graduate and Rock n Roll Highschool. We sang along to the Ramones and customers laughed.

Also had someone...

I love it too how we can totally break apart a difference between what is a "stoner" and a user of marijuana..

That's cool..

Best weekend in I don't remember how long! love
Went to Vancouver with some girlfriends to see the good Rev. Heat, which included lots of shopping, good music and girly things. We stayed at a friends' brother's place; a massive expensive apartment right downtown. Best free hostel I've ever been.

Because I'm tired and can't be bothered to write an entire entry, here is a list....

The computer has been fixed for now. I say for now, because my pseudo-hacker brother installed a pirated version of Norton - in Spanish. I'd like to see how long that lasts.

Got angry at the menfolk in the house about sexism, computers and the like. Hell hath no fury, I tell ya.

Yup, it's a virus.
And I have been warned to "stay off the computer", which is exactly what I will do after writing this.
Dumb men in the house don't want me trying to fix it. THey didn't even know we had a virus, let alone install antivirus software.
At least it's not my computer.

Ack.
Happy week, everyone. eeek

I can so relate. Anything that goes wrong with this one is my fault. Hell, I had to show my parents how to do everything and I am in no way computer savy.
I started my essay on vegetarism. I'll let you see it when it's done.
oktober:
Arg. Viruses are a pain in the arse. Sounds like those guys deserve the virus anyway... they won't even let you fix it? hmmm... seems odd to me.

Keep well ooo aaa

I'm confused too. Is there some secret trick SG members learn after they've been around awhile? I'm going to go cry in my room because I don't know how to read said attached file. frown

Oh, and have groovy day of fun. biggrin

Unfortunately I seem to be having computer problems. So if this entry is replace by a "see document" message, ignore it. I fear a virus, but perphaps a slow internet connection?... If only I knew more about computers and less about pattern drafting. tongue

Anyhow.
Love and sunshine to everyone for all the warm birthday wishes. I had a great time at the burlesque, despite too...

Hope you had a great birthday! smile

I'm sorry, I feel like I snubbed you... My friends and I were trying figure something out when I saw you inside the bar and said hi. It was crazy in there. I wanted to say hello and at least talk to you in person for a minute. BUt alas, that was how it went down.

I had fun, but I can't imagine being any shorter than myself in that venue. I'm pretty tall and I still had a hard time seeing anything. Oh well, I hope your birthday was great and that you found a good spot in the room. biggrin
