Todays the day. I always try to make sure that I remember the sacrifice made to preserve a people and a way of life, an ideal really. It saddens me to think that if those same men and women had been able to see into the future, they most likely would not have approved of many aspects of our society today. It's a brighter thought though, that they gave us the right to make those choices for ourselves, and that's really what their sacrifice is all about.
