in here, there is no road-map, just a train wreck to guide you from spot to spot another as you search, search, FUCKING SEARCH for reasons to keep on...moving on is a risk, yes, but are there the words that will soothe me?
is there the one who will hold me, giving me the ultimate erection and eventual rejection? maybe just, i'll leave it all behind and make my way thru those frightening drainage pipes that i swore would lead me to horror-------but it all rests in the cemetary garden near the hill, near the river...near the spot where i knew it would happen...where we spray painted slogans and tried to make sense of ghosts. the age is creeping up on me, and i'm only a child--

make the flowers rise splendid in your vase, make the clouds part to rain the love juice down, make me put my ear to the grass.....waiting, OH, SOOOOOO waiting. for you.
i dunno--maybe this is really all that is left of the trip. maybe someday i'll stare at my scars and wonder how they made it there in the first place. maybe i'll light twelve candles for you. whatever the outcome, the silence will always sound for me.
