So...I've spent about half an hour trying to write a really sappy entry about how excited I am for next week, but I cannot get it just right. Let me keep it short:

Next Monday. Her. I. Missouri. One entire week.

Yeah, I'm more excited than ever because not only do I get to see her....but also my family, who I haven't seen in almost two years. I really wished I lived closer, because not getting to see my mom in so long hurts. I miss her so very much, and it will be awesome to hang out with all my redneck relatives while they indulge in their redneck habits. I expect much drunkeness, some rest (as both Martini and I deserve it), and tons of photos.

I cannot wait for my mom to meet the other most special woman in my life.

In other news, I have been working constantly. I believe it is a rule that as you approach your vacation the company must squeeze every last fucking ounce of work they can out of you. But it's all ok.
