I have been updating a lot recently, but since school is out for the week, it's cool right? I've decided to suck it up at work and smile, make some money, get the tattoos I want done, buy a new drum set and keep on keepin on, as they say. I probably won't have time to do a Thanksgiving update, so here it is. What am I, Alex, thankful for, well, to be alive, Monday, will be the one year anniversary of me walking out of the hospital, and well, I'm thankful for every minute of the 6 weeks I had to put up with. Not many people get to experience something that traumatic on any level, it has definitely lit a fire under my ass. I've always done well in school with trying, now I try, now I care. After the whole thing, looking back, I would do it again in a heartbeat. Every minute. I would not wish it on my worst enemy, and I've made some believe me. It has made me not put up with shit anymore, I used to be kind of a push over, and while I still am in way, not nearly what I used to be. I'm thankful for my parents. While my mom can be kind of a bitch at times when she's angry, I still love her. And my dad,... while I don't approve of what he does, I can say that I love him. I just wish he'd wear is hearing aids more often. I find it quite ironic that an audio professional has a father that can't hear. Still love him though. and thankful for 99% of the people here, in just the few weeks I've been back active, I've caught up, and/or made bitchin new friends. Also, I learned that one of my closest friends is moving back here from Texas, while I don't always agree with him on politics, he is an awesome dude, and I'm stoked that I might have a roommate for my senior year of college!

and people jogging at midnight. In the past year, that has pissed me off the most, people bitching about our dogs, when it's obviously not our problem. Also the nutjob neighbor that revs his crotch rocket at midnight on weekends but comes over and bitches about our dog at 6pm on weekday. Cmon moron.

On another note, glad that you're okay. I didn't know you before your incident but I can already tell that you're a stand-up guy. Sounds like you're getting your life in order which is always a positive thing. Keep thinking positively and good things will come your way. As for the bitches, well, they're always gonna be difficult. They come and go, but you'll find the right now. It's all just a matter of time.
