This one is very boring sorry. Adobe Illustrator New Document profiles yay.
When you make a new document there are some presets, [print, web, mobile and devices,ect] but they all suck. To add one that dosen't suck.
Dump any blank (meaning no artwork) Ai File with your custom setup, including preferred panels, and locations, filled with user defined settings and other tweaks Into the New document settings folder:
On Mac: User/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Illustrator CS5/en_US/New Document Profiles
On WIndows: Documents and settings/Username/Application data/Adobe/Adobe Illustrator CS5 settings/en_US/New Document Profiles.
Now when you open a new document That file will be one of the presets you can choose, and it will have all your panels filled with what you want instead of the default, symbols, swatches, brushes and so on.
