DAMN today has been so busy with work....good I guess although I was hoping to sneak out of here early since it is my birthday, but oh well.

Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes. I have been trying to respond to everyone on their own journals as TheFuckOffKid was so kind to bring this bit of common-sense to my attention.

Today I have heard from all kinds of far flung friends and family some of whom I haven't heard from in years. The farthest calls came from my mum in Jordan (she's not from there, just living there) and my brother-in-law in South Africa. Some people I didn't remember for the life of me...which is always embarassing....

"Hi! Happy Birthday!"
"Thanks! Do I know you?"
"I'm blank-blank"
"Oh. Hey there"
"I guess you don't remember me..."
"Um..."
"Hello...remember we had sex in an elevator in San Fransisco....remember?"
"Um. What were you wearing?"

LOL. This may or may not be a fictional account. Just saying. Now that I am 30 I have been reflecting and contrasting and comparing 20 stories with people and I have to say I had a damn good decade. For which I am grateful!
