qbug

I'm going out of town tonight. Won't be online much from May 24-30. I'm usually online all day, so it'll be weird.
I'm going to go visit my Uncle, who is very very sick. His body just like... gave up a few years ago, and it's getting to be the time where the doctors can't do anything for him anymore. He has heart, liver and spleen problems. Sometimes his brain gets flooded with blood and they have to drain it out. He has cellulitis and his legs get so bloated that they turn purple and he can't walk.
It sucks because he is absolutely the greatest guy I know. He got sick pretty much right after my mom died, and I just worry about him so much.

I'll be staying with my Grandma, who I love so so much. She is like my mom now. I miss her so much all the time, and she totally dotes on me. Her personality is so funny too, you can't take anything she says seriously. She exagerrates every story she tells you and just comes up with these crazy fish stories lol. She also gets really stressed out about nothing at all (If you're familiar with Mrs. Bennett from Pride & Prejudice...). She like fans herself and starts breathing heaving and saying "Oh, I just don't know what to do, I need to sit down. Oh, I can't sit down, I have to take care of this. Oh my word." It's cute. And annoying when I take her in public lol. I took her to a restaurant once and she complained that the lighting was too dim, and the words on the menu were too small, and why did I have to take her out, and she just wanted a big mac (I actually told the waitress to make her something close to a big mac...), and then she got pissed off that I paid for her food. It was a pleasant evening lol.

I know my Grandma is totally stressed out right now and I want to be there for her. I feel really guilty that I don't live at home any more. She is outliving half of her children. That is fucking tough.

So yeah, that's where I'll be for the next week. Love you guys.
