So, I was right. I did have a Pilonidal Cyst.

Last night after work it was so painful I could barely walk. Plus, I was crying because it hurt so badly so StickyNuts took me to the emergency room.

When I was there, the initial freak out began. I started crying before I got inside the building. Once admitted, we waited in the waiting room for 3 and a half hours before someone saw us. (We were there until 3:30 a.m.)

So, then I got a little gown, and a blanket and got to wait in an exam room for another 45 minutes and then came the doctors. There was a med student named Mikhail, and then the actual doctor whose name was Donna. (She looked like a hippie. I'm serious. The hemp wearing patchouli burning type. )

They diagnosed me and then proceeded to numb me up so that they could split my little friend open and drain it. I screamed. It hurt so bad when they sliced it open. I started to get all nauseas and breathing really fast and freaking out because I thought it was supposed to be numbed, but I felt everything. Donna even gave me a second helping of Novocaine, but I didn''t feel like it worked.

After it was drained and cleaned out, they stuff the would full of gauze and told me that I needed to come back in two days to FINISH the procedure. FINISH IT!! I guess they have to remove the entire pocket.... YUCK!!!

So, yeah.... its the next morning and now I feel like I've been hit by a Mack truck.
