Damn. Great link but it fell short for me. I immediately went looking for a definition of "Snap!" or "Oh Snap!". I always read it like one of "You hit the nail right on the head" or "Oh that was a truthful, sharp and insightful comment" or "Oh that retort was particularily cutting" but I always thought there might be something more to it...

here's all that I found:
snap Noun. Food, especially a snack, occasionally a packed lunch. [Northern and Midlands use/dialect?]

Volkov - Love the cockney rhyming slang. I got a run down on the DVD extra for Snatch (or maybe two smoking barrels, can't remember which)
