Been I little bummed lately since most of my friends from college went home for the summer. And more bummed it is taking so fucking long to get into the Air Force. I blow my ASVAB out of the water though with an average around 93 out of 100. Especially with the mechanical part, because I am the complete opposite of a gear head.
I stopped doing my martial art, Cuong Nhu. One because it is rough on the body and less useful than regular exercise for what I need right now. And two because since I am not taking classes right now I can only go to the dojo made up of the few sensei that come if not just the highest ranked one which I do not care for much, two elderly people, one woman that is dating a sensai, and about nine kids from high school down to elementry.
And like 10% of America, I am trying to find a job until I get my ok from the Air Force. I put in at a couple of temp offices so far.
The method I am currently using to get my weight off is the lean diet, sprints, and weight training. The lowest I got so far is 202. So it seems to work a little better than my rice, beans and greens diet.
My father, technically my best friends father, went into the hospital on sunday with fluid around his heart. I did not find out until today, which I was not happy about. Big Donnie , that is the man in the hospital, said that he was going to be fine they were just going to watch him over night, for the past two nights.
I am excited about getting a of Arsene Lupin, The Gentleman Thief by Maurice LeBlanc on friday in waiting for it I have been reading the John Rain series by Barry Eisler. It was the closest thing I would find about a charming villain at books a million. It is alright but the main character is paranoid so badly that he can not enjoy life that much.
I am sure things will look up.
