I tend to procrastinate most concerning the things at which I excel. It is a combination of boredom and the arrogance that stems from the deeply seeded notion that I can do them quickly and whenever I choose. A corollary of this statement may explain why so many people get jobs in fields that have nothing to do with their undergraduate degrees. Who wants to keep doing something you just spent the majority of the last four years of your life doing? (Actually, that probably has little or nothing to do with it, except perhaps in my case, but we'll have to wait and see about that part.)
