So I've pretty much been sucked into life since this summer and have spent little time here (totally still around though!). Time has been flying by for me and I feel bad for neglecting my family and friends here. I haven't forgotten ya'll, my big post is still coming! It's just gotten even bigger and is taking lots lots longer than anticipated lol. Life has been really crazy and the wife and I have both been working hard and playing harder. I was able to go home for just over two weeks this past thanksgiving and spend lots of time with just about ALL of my family. It was great and perfect time too. My brother is driving to Olympia WA as we speak after departing from Dallas. So it'll probably be the last time we all go down and visit my mom's side of the family that has mysteriously repopulated there.
It was an awesome visit and we got to spend lots of quality time with my brother and sister (his wife). My wife was super excited to spend lots of time with her new sister and they had a blast shopping together. One of the things I love so much about my wife is how great she is with money. She's a little too good and I had to force her to go shopping with a minimum spending limit, we loaded up while home because it really is cheaper and better. Plus the holiday sales didn't hurt, we had lots of fun at target, and spent over a day in Macy's. She's feeling very spoiled now and had a great time.
I'm very thankful for the time to be home and be with all my wonderful family this year. I'm also thankful for all my family here, ya'll are great and I hope ya'll had a great thanksgiving for everyone in the US and have a wonderful Christmas!!!
And for all the other Star Wars fans out there, may the Force be with you this coming friday!!! I'll be at the midnight showing...so excited!!!! X D Now I gotta go wrap all my wife's Christmas gifts while she's still away. = )
