Hey Ya'll!!!
It's been awhile, and a lot longer than I meant to be away but that's life. I've got a bad habit of trying to do too many things at once and I'm an atrociously terrible multitasker. I also don't like doing something half assed, so I've taken a good break from blogging about the adventures (they've continued!). I discovered Destiny on xbox 360 and have been kicking ass on my hunter ever since. It even stole me away from Diablo III. Best part I get to play with my bro and some of our close friends back home which is really nice when there's a huge ocean between us.
The last two months have been very busy. I've moved from crewing trucks at the fire station as a Crew Chief to the prevention office as an Inspector! So I've been getting up to speed on our base policies, lots of fire codes, pulling fire drills, teaching fire safety to elementary/middle schoolers, briefing newcomers, and giving fire safety PSA on AFN radio every two weeks! I switched over right as Fire Prevention Week kicked off so I had my hands full. It went really well though and was lots of fun. One of these days I'll sign out as inspector gadget hahaha.
Other than work, I've still been going all over with the girlfriend having tons of fun. Halloween was great! I hope ya'll had great ones too. I worked the haunted house put on in our town by the base, which went pretty good for a first year. Scaring Japanese school girls is exactly as much fun as it sounds!!! = D I worked that two weekends, went to a big Halloween party with my girl on one and then we went to Roppongi Halloween night. Holy SHIT it was packed!!! There where a zillion slutty cops/nurses/zombie versions of each and just a massive horde of costumed people. I saw at least two full assortments of sailor moon crews running around. Only saw a handful of Star Wars costumes though. There was me as Anakin Skywalker, an awesome Chewbacca, a decent Darth Maul, and a cheap Darth Vader. It was fun!
This week me and the gal did Disney! It was epic and we just happened to catch it on the first day of Christmas Season. It was fantastic and we both had a blast. I'll do a proper blog on it at some point so I won't say more. = )
Other than all that, I made a really awesome Kahlua pig this weekend (pulled pork w/ cabbage). It turned out perfect and is delicious as left overs. I've also got back on WoW now that the expansion kicks off soon, so Destiny will have some competition. I also got suckered into playing Clash of Clans and Boom Beach on my iphone...>.> That pretty much covers it, minus lots of details, ya'll keep kicking ass out there! = )
