I had the weirdest experience last night. I went on a sales call, and the guy I was selling to was a very nice little old man. Apparently his wife had died like 3 weeks prior, and while I was there he broke down and cried twice about it. Normally I would be very compassionate, and go over and console the person, that is if I knew the person. Now I am not saying that since I don't know some one that I wouldn't give a shit about them. I just felt like I maybe needed to compose some sense of professionalism. I just told him that I understood, and not to worry about when he apologized. What the hell was I suppose to do?
