Happy Birthizzle Dizzle!

Myu real favourite birthday tradition in my family is going out for dinner, the birthday-ed one gets to choose the restaraunt and get whatever they like. In recent i think i have quite often chosen Thai food because no one else in my family/friends likes it that much and it is the only time i can regularly go. Mmmm....thai food....,

I am honestly at a loss as to who to vote for. Okay, it's true that I think most people that are undecided by now must be braindead, or probably just attention-starved and like to have people pandering to them, but let me tell you, my reasons are very different than most.. As for the issues on the table publicly--the economy, Iraq, security, education, etc...

Arianna Huffington, who btw is no big fan of the Democrats, said something along the lines of "Don't worry about renovating your house when it's on fire." In other words, get the present and urgent problem (ie. Bush) dealt with before moving on to the real problems. Get someone whose solution to the oil problem that you are noting isn't just to invade countries that have oil. And unfortunately, because you have a 2-party system down there, "not Bush" means Kerry.

And besides, out of their silence on this matter, we can say this: Bush clearly has no love for the environment, all the whole kissing the ass of anyone who can get him more and more OIL. Nor does he have any long term plans that extend beyond the next thing to do (as can be seen in his "victory" in Iraq). And at least there are key democrats who are staunch environmentalists (like Al Gore, who should have been the president for the last 4 years)--at least as compared to the power elite of the GOP.

Vote Kerry, for God's sake.
starguitar:
Think of it this way, then: Whichever guy is in charge for the next 4 years won't solve the problem of finite oil or what will happen if something isn't done to recognize this and move on

Therefore, don't even factor it into your current voting decision.

Trying to think about what I want to do for my birthday/our anniversary (My birthday's Nov. 1, our anniversary is Nov. 4th).
I am the most indecisive person you'll ever meet.

Don't want to fly or travel too far, worried something will happen around election time.. frown

ALSO: lesson of the day: don't cook with hot oil shirtless. How many times must I learn this lesson?...

I too have expirienced the painful hot-oil-boob-splatter. Ugh. So then i lean really far back, and drop hot oily food on my bare feet. I can't win!!!

Oh, and if you are bored, too, there are a million cute pictures in my random folder, for... eeek ... a post about cute things on the boards! so why not share the cuteness.
And that's just like .01% of my cute-library. 'cause jason and i made eachother "cheer-up-boxes" full of little notes and pictures...

The property is in Mt Angel, nice quiet country land. I have a bunch of relatives out there and could have gotten a welding job with my cousin. Also was planning on a garden and getting a great dane puppy. What'll probably happen is I'll go down to portland in spring.
