my weekend consisted of lots of water.
luckily, our streak of nearly-averted-disasters continued.
-our treehouse, trailer and everything is so far un-touched, with 2 ton logs floating by a dozen feet away.
-we almost booked reservations at a cabin on the beach. we were on the phone with them, ready to give them our credit card number, but for whatever reason thought better of it. 2 days later the whole town is evacuated and might be totally washed away by the aforementioned flooding and high tides.
-we almost booked reservations at a motel in oaxaca for my birthday trip. decided at the last moment to save the money (we were seconds away from booking that one, too). hopefully you all are aware it's not such a great place to be right now, what with the tear gas and gasoline bombs.
