The lease for the apartment I'm in is up in October. Raesny and I agreed that we're going our separate ways, so I've been looking for a place for myself. Last week when Cody was here we went driving around looking at apartments, and we saw a place downtown. Since I'm not moving until October I put my name on their call list for when something comes available. Well they called on Tuesday for a one bedroom that is coming available on October 10th - the day my lease ends.
1 bedroom, 700 sq.ft. With a balcony. In downtown Portland, right near Broadway near PSU. Right across the street from a Safeway. On the goddam trolley route. Like it doesn't get more perfect.
So I submitted an app online right after I got the call. Honestly, I didn't expect to get approved. My credit isn't good, and my financial situation is weird.
But they called today. I'm approved. I just got the most awesome apartment I could imagine. I have to go downtown next week and sign some paperwork.
Holy shit. My heart is racing. I'm kinda in shock.
