It has been many long months and 7 lackluster episodes, but Kings has finally aired an episode worth watching. I had high hopes for Ian McShane from the beginning, but since the show begam he has overwhelmed every other character and actor on the show. Now, though, things seem to have come together. The writing is solid and compelling, and the players seem to know their parts and how to play them.

I hope it gets another season. It's just starting to be worth watching.
