Behind me d23 is playing Nine Inch Nails to a restaurant full of people I know from Southern California. I am, I think, trapped here for a few hours. So I'm making the best of it... by busting out my laptop and checking out SG.
I'll give D one thing - he has a lot of the songs I have liked over the past 10 years. He's playing SNOG now. I haven't heard Corporate Slave since the last time I went to an industrial club in Hollywood, and I think that was 3 years ago. It's amazing how some songs just become a part of you. I know every word of this song, every beat, every change in tempo, even though I haven't heard it in what seems like a long time.
It's cold outside, where the rest of the party is, so I'm going to stay here, cruising the SG boards for giggles, and updating various blogs. I hope tonight finds you warm and in the company of friends as well.

Then I did read that wrong. That's a shame, because I found a really awesome bar scene nearby. You could have partaken. Someday though, you will join me.
