I registered my classes for next term. I'm going to take another math class for credit, and I'm taking a creative writing class through Community Education. The math is, well, math. I'm enjoying it, but combined with the pleasure of doing well at it is the guilt of knowing I should have learned this stuff 15 years ago. It's the writing class I'm excited about. I've been getting the itch to write again, and Allah knows I haven't been doing any of it here. The motivation of a due date, and the crutch of an assigned topic may get me back in the habit of sitting down, organizing my thoughts, and producing something interesting to read. And if not, the Community Ed class is only $30. If my creative juices really have dried up I'm only out the cost of a gallon of gas.
