i really have yet to explain how burningman changed my life...
i'm not quite sure that i can quite capture the experience with words. it was simply amazing. i met a lot of really cool people out there that i will consider life long friends. i strengthened friendships with people i have known for years. i fell in love... but it's too soon to go into that. just know that he is amazingly wonderful and an intellectual match that i have never been able to find prior. we didn't meet on playa so i don't think it will fall into the category of playa romance... the type that never works out in the end because things just don't function in the default world the way that they do in black rock city. i am hoping for the best. he makes me very happy.
my camp was pretty bad ass. we built a bar, a dome, and had some very cool people from both arizona and cali camping with us. we were known as A2M bookstore. look for us next year. we should be registered by then and we're looking to expand our camp.
i started breathing fire while on playa and i've had a lot of fun learning how to hone the talent. it is quite dangerous but i feel that i have a natural ability for it so i think i will stick to it and see if i can catch up with the best of them.
coming back to the default world has been really rough for me. i'm evaluating priorities. mainly, what do i need to be happy? in that, i think i have come to the conclusion that i am growing increasingly unhappy with work. i will try to change that soon rather than focus on the negativity that it brings into my life.
i'm trying to paint more and therefore am going to try and share my art more with the outside world instead of just people that come into my apartment.

i'm working on another set to be shot in mid to late october. wish me luck. i'm hoping to go pink off this one so i can lose the HOPEFUL title, finally. we shall see.
well, i am off to catch up on some homework before going out to perform some firearts tonight. i hope all is well with everyone.
day 7 on the playa... the dreads looking a tad ragged. but i think i look happier than i have in years. <3
