Just got back from Marco Island, unfortunately. It was SO beautiful and relaxing, I didn't want to come home. I can see how people migrate there and live off of nothing but fresh seafood, alcohol, and sun. It was awesome. They had a little wild-life refuge there that I wish I could have stayed at all day. All in all the trip was 876987349873 thumbs up. We saw

this cockatoo's name was Sassy, and she's the sweetest animal in the world. you can't really tell but she's snuggling right here. she like nuzzles up in yer armpit and lets you pet her, my heart melted. i wanted to take her home SO bad.

and there were emus! these things were fuckin crazy lookin. that guy in the pic is the tour guide, he had to herd a couple by catchin 'em from behind and puttin 'em in a bear hug. those things have an unbelievable vertical jump, i thought the bird and the guide were both gonna blast off like a rocket. the bird sure tried to like 4 times before the guide pitched the damn thing into its pen.

this was my favorite though. if you haven't ever held a giant python, you sould. the raw power these things posess is incredible.
