hi world,
not much going on today. i was supposed to take ashley to the dmv at 1:45, and we totally had plans, like, she even gave me the gas money last night for it (her car's broken down and she needed a ride). anyway, i got assigned a shitload of homework and so i called and flaked on her. she was really really pissed but she said we're still friends. i think she's just really mad right now. i can understand why... i am a fucking flake. i should be in a cereal box i'm so flakey. or on someone's flakey scalp. so yeah, you get the picture...
i retired my monroe piercing, as you can see in the pic. i hope it doesn't leave too bad of a scar. the reason i took it out was because i couldn't really do anything creative with it, as in, there's not a lot of cute jewelry for that piercing since it's kind of uncommon. plus, as soon as i took it out, i felt relief on my gum line and not having the scraping of metal there practically made me giddy. so that was that, took it out and now it's closed up, or at least scabbed over.
pickles got lost in the house yesterday. i sat and waited quietly in a chair, not moving, so he would come out from where he was and think it was safe to roam the house. he did indeed come out from hiding --behind the refridgerator, lol. dumb guinea pig... i love him, he's my baby.
i've been learning two new things lately. firstly, hunter's been giving me skating lessons and i can do a really sloppy ass ollie now. so i'm working on that, practicing everyday until i get good enough to clear gaps and stuff. the second thing i'm learning is how to sing better. i hooked up the mic to my computer and i'm learning "Numb" by Linkin Park. i don't particularly like linkin park, but the lead singer sings in my range and so i just had to go with that.
speaking of learning, i signed up for my fall session classes. i'm taking survey of art history from prehistoric to medieval times, intro to digital photography and hatha yoga. w00t w00t!
other stuff... nothin' really. put a new pic up on here that i took with my new webcam. i've totally been eating up the whole webcam thing. it's soo fun.
so yeah, like i said, i do have a shitload of homework, mainly reading, that i must get back to. sooo.....
