To answer the question from yesterday, if i could do anything, I would have to own my own business that specializes in creative/art/fashion/literature/poetry, etc. Yeah, that narrows it down...

So I have been writing for ages but just recently decided to make my return to traditional poetic forms. I have been in a deep relationship with blank verse/free verse for years, so writing in a more restrictive form was real mental yoga. It is so good to stretch! anyhow, here is my cheezy semi-ballad. Some of the lines have too many syllables, but im workin it out

Ballad I
I pined until the sun had spilled
the day from its tall glass
I dream yet more to crystal night
I must break with the past

I loved, I lost, should have my fill
knowing the extent of all
My heart, nomadic, refuses to rest
In love I want to fall...
