i'm not a religious person by any stretch of the word, and i don't believe in a singular/personable "god" in the sense that most religions do, but...

i'm praying for the iraqi people today.

i hope this shock and awe campaign is meant to shock military/ruling party targets, and awe civilians from afar (at safe distances) but i doubt this is the case.

this should never have happened.
