So. SARStock (which is the worst name I've ever heard for an event) was a lot of fun. I'm trying to get over my moral dilemma around the world helping out Canada during it's rough time when all the other areas affected don't warrant such attention.
Even though, having these opinions are sort of hypocritical since I did, you know, attend the concert.
In any case. I really don't know where I stand. But.. I do know this journal entry is the least exciting thing you'll read all day.

haha I am sooooo with you on the 'SARStock' thing... that is the stupidest name for it... I just call it what it is "the SARS benefit concert" sounds better. Anyway I didn't go... I just can't handle being trapped in the sun all day... besides, uh... I don't think I would have had much luck getting a hotel in the GTO, what with all the people from out of town. One thing that bothered me about the whole security situation, even though I was not there: why was it okay for the 'pilgrims' to camp out at the same site for the Pope at 'World Youth Day' last year but they were apparently giving people a hard time for camping out prior to the concert? Seems like a double standard there.... and just so ya know my op' on the Pope... he is the anti-christ 
but anyway, so glad you had fun at the shew. I really will have to make it to Toronto one of these days and if I ever do get plans you'll be the first to know... I really wanna hang out sometime. Been thinking about a trip to the zoo though... I actually feel very weird morally about that one, but I do know that there are CABA meetings there, maybe I'll plan around one of those, they send me a newsletter every now and then via e-mail. I found out about CABA at a lecture by Jane Goodall a couple years ago.... she even sighed my copy of through a window; my 30 years in Gombe. Also she posed for a pic with my group... ah off on a tangent here.
