Deja-vu.

i once read a possible explanation for deja-vu being something about a moment that skips over the short-term memory and goes straight to long-term and then back through the short-term, so that it instantly gives you the feeling like it's happened before. (of course there the theory was much more elaborate and contained bigger words, but you get the idea right?)
