We found him passed-out in the back of a van. It wasn't anyone's van as far as we could see because the plates had been ripped off, the glove box was empty, and the engine was off. We didn't know what to do.

Finding the closest establishment would have been time consuming. It was over 10km away. By the time one of us walked there and back there was a good chance he'd die (so we thought) before we got back.

We had to come-up with a better plan.

Well, there were three of us. We had walked quite a way and still had some energy left in us. We could do something to help.
