As attractive as this sounds, I'm getting fat.
I've decided to get off my lazy-ass (did I mention that I'm a desk-jockey?) this summer and get back into shape.
Here's a routine that I'm kicking around:
Fewer buses. Just because I have a bus pass doesn't mean I have to use it all the time. It's nice out! Get some fresh-air damnit!
Light lunches. I have a tendency to go out with co-workers for elaborate lunches which I probably don't need. This should also be a welcome money-saver. I was thinking of salads, small sandwiches, that sort of thing.
Healthier dinners. Here's some information about me: I love to cook. I'm serious, I'm a fiend at times (ie. This past weekend I probably spent over 5 hours preparing meals). My only problem is that I tend to go for better tasting while neglecting the possible health implications of certain meals. I've been doing a lot of research lately into the proper combinations of certain types of dishes for the right amounts of protein, calcium, b12, etc that properly match my lifestyle.
Last but not least:
Less alcohol. Some of you probably laugh at this but it's true. Apparently, alcohol is not good for you.
I know, I know. It's crazy. I didn't believe it either.
To sum up:
Moderation.

I've also been trying to get healthier lately. I have the opposite problem though - I'm trying to gain weight. I've done a bunch of research lately on nutrition too - especially being a vegetarian. Long story short - broccoli is the king of all vegetables (or queen... sorry girls..)
