You may remember me talking about various lady friends in a previous blog, well I seem to have hit nothing but dead ends, met up with the girl who lived locally, we had fun, I stayed at hers that night, hooked up but I think it's only gonna be a one night thing, which I'm fine with, not enough there I think.
The one who was suppose to come visit me back out last minute and has been very funny lately when talking to me.
I went to visit a girl I had started chatting to on PoF in Northampton, this was the one I'm most keen on because she is literally one of the coolest people I've ever met, great taste in music (particularly her love of Leftover Crack), gamer, as geeky as me, great sense of humour, literally what I would describe as ideal woman. We just sat at this alternative bar all night getting ridiculously drunk before going back to her place. The visit went really, however she text me a few days later saying that she didn't want to get involved with anyone because of some serious medical issues.
I'm not some player trying to get multiple girls on the go, just pursuing all options because I know most of the time it doesn't go anywhere.
But this shit if starting to get old, since September I've been rejected 4 times, C, C, L and E from girls I've dated that should have been interested and few other's that just didn't go anywhere, I really just can't catch a break.
I went to a paintball festival this weekend, North vs South, which was exactly what I needed, to just completely forget about my problems and take out my frustrations by shooting people with paintballs. There was a night game Friday night, an evasion game where players would have to navigate their way through various checkpoints in the fastest possible time, it was our job to stop them, 60 of us defended against some 600, we had as much paint as and air as we wanted, they had only a hopper and 2 pods, only 200 of them made it to the finish the line, none within the first 2 hours, damn good job I'd say!
Sunday was the main event, 800 a side, north vs south, and we kicked their asses! First time in 4 years the south won, we took all the objectives we were assigned to take and the last battle was intense, rather than building with lots of open space around, this year it was a much more enclosed one, narrow paths in and out with the flag pole out the front, we were trapped in this building under relentless assault, I unloaded about 1000 paintballs in 15 minutes defending one of these paths but we held out and won the day.
