Last night I went to see my mates band play, Matt Black & the Emulsions play, the catch it is was at some Conservative club, which for a punk band is strange to say the least but they were supporting another band. Was quite interesting especially since their first song "I am Revolution" is a massive dig at the Tories with lines like "I am a tax evader, I am a Tory" but was still good fun.

It was out of Brighton so I drove and we came into Brighton afterwards and what was awesome is to not have people in my car who aren't critical of my musical taste, infact we had a great laugh singing along to Rancid and Transplants, espcially "DJ DJ"'s chorus of "We're gonna make it on our own, we don't need anyone, lord know's we don't need you" everyone sung to that bit and we had such a great harmony, epic times

Also got complimented on my song writing for "A curse" (see my previous blog) saying I should get a band together and I really want to so gonna start asking around to see what I can do
