Sooooooooo there's a lot on the horizon and a lot weighing on my mind.
Lets start with the good:
In a couple of weeks I'm going to trial weekend with one of the top paintball teams in the UK, Reading Entity, this year they are just playing domestics tournaments, but are playing the top division of the main paintball league in the UK, CPPS. Whilst Entity isn't pro, we would be playing against the UK's pro teams such as London Nexus, Manchester Firm, Birmingham Disruption and next year hopefully playing the semi-pro division of the European Millenium Series. (I know there's a lot to look up there if you don't follow paintball
)
I've applied for a better position at work, it's just "mobile content" (working with our the mobile version of our website) but it's a bit more money and less weekends. This is the 4th position I've applied within the company I work for, trying to move forward, if I don't get this one I will be pissed.
I've started classes in Tai Chi and Southern Dragon Style Kung Fu, the former is great for focusing and general well being, all that stuff you hear about it being good for your mind and body is true. The later is real deal, not like rigid karate which is very fixed and your not shown the practical side, the teaching is excellent, each move is explained and demonstrated so you know how to use it.
I'm also learning Russian
I've only got a few basic phrases as words, though I've just learned " !" The alphabet is hard because some letters look and sound the same, some look the same but sound difference and some are just weird!
Oh, and I've just brought some new patches and some pyramids studs for my vest, as well as spiked wristband.
Now for the negative:
I've started trying to get my laptop and old PS2 back from my of an ex. I got some free advise from a solicitor and they said I can write a letter requesting them back so long as it is polite and too the point, I also got told this by the police when I reported the violent threats I recieved from one of her new boyfriend's friends. Though I said I wanted no action taken, I see no point in ruining someone else's life over this, even if they deserve it, I just wanted to cover myself in case of A) Reprisal and B) She tries to get the police involved over it, even though all I've done is write a polite letters asking for my stuff back, she's become that vindictive and hatefull towards me I really would put anything past her. It's just got me very anxious, I just want to be able to recover my sutff without hassle, but I get the feeling she won't give it back without a fuss.
