I know ranting blogs aren't good but this deserves it.
I have just watched an episode of the Inbetweeners USA and seriously the phrase "YOU WATCHED IT, YOU CAN'T UNWATCH IT" comes to mind.
The actors are all trying way to hard to be the English characters and they just can't pull it off. The acting is just terrible, they clearly don't get the characters. Jay's the worst instead of being a lovable, misunderstood blagger, he's just a creepy, asshole potential rapist and why is hitting on a 13 year old!
Also I've only seen the one episode, but is it just me or is it a bit racist? Simon's little brother stops the only Asian girl in the queue coming into the the house party until everyone else has gone in, then as he lets her in says "don't touch anything" What the hell?
What was a classic, brilliantly funny and highly original TV show has been brutally sodomised.... and they didn't even use lube....
