I met a girl Saturday at a gig, we really hit it off and things got rather heated when we said goodbye on the front doorstep of my friends house we all went back to.
She's new to Brighton, just started her PhD, so we met up had a wander around the lanes, got something to eat, wandered round...

Just got back from my friend Mig's house, he's gonna be the bassist in my band but can play guitar as well, so he wrote music to a couple of my songs and it came out really well I think. We recorded them, I sang he did acoustic guitar and backing vocals. Check it.

Ah, I do love my Russian colleagues, we had another inter-office football match against our Traders and smashed them into the dirt 8-3, though we did have 4 rolling substitutes and our average age is about 10 years younger so fitness was a major factor
We all (well the winners

Today's question. Who's your hero?
My Answer: Greg Graffin, lead singer of Bad Religion, PhD in Zoology, author, university lecturer, Naturalist. It's this combination of things that make him such an inspiration, how intelligent he is in everything he does and has achieved massively in 2 fields that I myself love (Punk music and natural science).
Two very awesome things to report:

I agree with velvetfaerie! The title does suit the blog. All I kept thinking while listening was "Dude! He has a voice! lol We've been chatting for just under a year and this is the first I've heard it. Glad you had an amazing night.
What was the best gig you've ever been too?
My Answer: Muse, Wembley Stadium, 2007 I believe, this was before my punk days and the sheer scale and energy of the performance was mind blowing, simply massive mosh pits too
Seeing the greatest band ever tomorrow evening, BAD RELIGION!
Maybe if I'm lucky I'll meet a nice girl who also happens to be a Bad...

While it was nothing I would have done on my own I would have to say the Maroon 5/ Kelly Clarkson on 8/9/13 just because of the fact it was my daughter's first concert. We had good seats. It will forever be a cherished memory.
This would be about how far away we were but more to the right.
