Thrasher had that posted before I even had a chance to look around. You can hear us rocking in the background throughout....sweet. Hopefully there will be some cool photos surfacing soon.

We had alot of fun. Epic contest. Nothing like watching your childhood skateboarder idols compete in front of you while you get to be the entertainment that fires them up during their contest runs....it was pretty unbeliveable. Not only that, but the legendary Salba sat in and played guitar with us fo 10 songs with almost no practice...just a quick guitar run-through in the hotel room beforehand.

The whole weekend was a bit of a whirlwind. We did this (6 hour drive each way...5-6am both days), I also played 2 other shows locally with the Pimpsticks, and managed to make it over to the SJ Tattoo Convention. That didn't last long...the Hell's angels, mixed with the Tattoo'd elite made me want to leave. Not a good vibe in there at all. Maybe if I had a Tattoo I'd be cooler. Oh well.

The book I worked on kicks much ass. I made it to the show for a few minutes before I left to the OC, and I was pleasantly surprised by an over-packed house to celebrate the book and the work that went into it. I'm proud of that one for sure....


Crazy weekend. Practice tonight, leaving for Florida on Friday to play here.

Funny thing is that I feel rested. I managed to not get too drunk and actually sleep as much as possible and it worked out....weird.
